Deal to Buy Hospitals in Mexico and Fulton May Be Near

Furloughed employees of the hospitals in Mexico and Fulton may have some good news regarding their future today (Tuesday).

In a meeting with employees this afternoon (Tuesday) Cory Countryman the president of Platinum Health said he is hoping to have a signed letter of intent by the end of the day transferring ownership of the hospitals from Noble Health to Platinum Health.

Countryman reportedly told employees that the first order of business is to get them caught up and paid back pay wages owed to them from Noble Health.

He also reportedly said it will be a priority to get major vendors up to date on payments.

Before opening the hospitals will need to have the State conduct a survey and inspection of the emergency rooms.

When asked directly at the meeting today, Countryman stated that Platinum Health is in no way associated with Noble Health.

Platinum Health is based out of the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.

Noble Health announced it was ceasing all hospital operations in Mexico and Fulton on March 24th.

KWWR/KXEO News has reached out to Noble Health administrators and was unable to get a response.
