The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the San Francisco Giants 7-1 in their series opener last night (Thursday) in San Francisco.

Yadier Molina hit a homerun and recorded his 999th career RBI.

Tommy Edman provided three hits in the win.

The Cardinals and Giants play game two of their four game series tonight at 9:15.

Mizzou football is announcing another new face for the 2022 season as DJ Coleman from FCS program Jacksonville State committed yesterday (Thursday).

Coleman is a 6’6, 245 pound rusher from Atlanta.

He had 55 tackles in 2021.

The University of Missouri is getting ready to start a national search for new women’s golf coach while head coach Stephanie Priesmeyer heads into a new role.

Yesterday (Thursday) Mizzou Athletics said Priesmeyer will take over a new development role in the athletic department.

The 148th running of the Kentucky Derby takes place tomorrow (Saturday) with a post time set for 5:57pm.

Most experts are saying it is a competitive field with no clear cut favorite. Zandon has the best odds of winning at 3-1.

All 20 horses racing in the field are three years old.

The NHL playoffs come to St. Louis tonight (Friday) as the Blues and the Minnesota Wild play game 3 of their Western Conference first round series at the Enterprise Center. The series is tied at one game a piece.
