KWWR Sports Report 6/7/22

The Mexico Bulldogs basketball team is in Monroe City sharpening their skills during summer.

Head coach Darren Pappas says he was happy with defensive efforts and the offense is coming along for both varsity and junior varsity squads.

Bulldogs basketball competed yesterday (Monday) and wrap up things in Monroe City today (Tuesday).

Former Rock Bridge star and 2019 Mr. Show-Me Basketball Isiaih Mosley is coming back home.

He announced on Instagram yesterday (Monday) that he is transferring to Mizzou.

Mosley led the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring last season while playing at Missouri State.

He led Rock Bridge High School to a State Championship as a senior in 2019.

Mosley is the 9th newcomer to join the roster since Dennis Gates took over as head coach.

The Kansas City Royals dropped their series opener 8-0 to the Toronto Blue Jays at the K last night (Monday). Kansas City has now lost 14 of its last 17 games since May 19th, falling to a Major League worst 17-36 with tonight (Tuesday) marking the one-third point of the season.
