The St. Louis Cardinals suffered their most crushing defeat of the season last night (Tuesday) with a 4-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays in ten innings at Tropicana Field.

The Cardinals had the Rays down to their final strike when Taylor Walls hit a walk-off three-run home run off Cardinals reliever Drew Verhagen.

The Redbirds will try to get even in the series tonight (Wednesday) in Tampa.

The Kansas City Royals were shut for a second consecutive night at the K to the Toronto Blue Jays.

The final was 7-0.

Kansas City have now lost 15 of their last 18.

A former Missouri Tigers offensive lineman who started his NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars, has reportedly signed with a new team.

The Houston Texans signed Tre’Vour Wallace-Simms.

At Mizzou, Wallace-Simms finished his decorated career in 2019 by starting all 12 games and was a key member of the Tigers offensive line group that was among the nation’s best during his time at Mizzou.

The Denver Broncos have reached a sale agreement with a price tag of 4.65 billion dollars.

The announcement was made yesterday (Tuesday) that the Walton-Penner group will purchase the team.

The 4.65 billion would be a record price paid for a North American sports franchise.
