MoDOT to Conduct Maintenance on Missouri River Bridge
Traffic issues could plaque the Capital City next week as the Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct maintenance on the Missouri River Bridge, Sunday, July 24th through Thursday, July 28th. Both the east and westbound lanes of US 54 will be reduced to a single lane of traffic between 6:30pm and 5am.
In addition, crews will close the entrance ramps from McCarty Street and Main Street to eastbound Route 54, as well as the entrance ramp from Route W to westbound Route 54. Signs will alert travelers to the closures.
MoDOT urges motorists to use caution, obey all traffic signs, and stay focused on the road when traveling through the work zones.
