For the third straight game the Kansas City Royals were shut out. This time by the New York Yankees. Aaron Judge hit a walk off home run with one out in the 9th inning giving NY a 1-0 win.
St. Louis had the night off.
University of Missouri football junior Harrison Mevis is among the 30 kickers named to the 2022 Lou Groza Award Watch List, released Wednesday. Mevis enters his third season as one of the nation’s top kickers. He was a Groza semifinalist in both 2020 and 2021.
Mevis was a 2021 first-team All-American selection by four media outlets last season.
