Back to School Tax Free Weekend Approaches
This weekend is Missouri’s annual back-to-school sales tax holiday, running Friday through Sunday.
Giving shoppers a bit of a break, state sales tax (4.225%) will not be charged on the following items:
- Clothing, shoes, diapers, fabric for sewing, up to $100. (Accessories are not included)
- Standard school supplies, up to $50 per purchase.
- Graphing calculators to $150
- Computer software up to $350
- Computer hardware up to $3,500
