Audrain County Ineligible for FEMA Funds from Recent Flooding
Federal emergency aid has been made available to the state of Missouri through FEMA to supplement state and local recovery efforts in areas affected by severe storms and flooding from July 25-28, 2022.
The areas to receive aid are in St. Charles and St. Louis counties, and the Independent City of St. Louis.
We spoke to the Audrain County Commissioner’s Office and were informed that Audrain County did not meet the damage threshold required to be eligible. We were also told the Office is unaware of anyone being displaced by the flooding even though individual grants might be available in that case.
