Albert Pujols hit his 649th home run last night, making major league history by tagging his record 450th different pitcher for a home run.

Tyler O’Neill also homered during a six-run second and again in a four-run sixth.

By the end of the evening the Cardinals routed the Reds 13-4.

St. Louis is at Cincinnati tonight, game time 5:40. The Cards’ Dakota Hudson vs the Red’s Justin Dunn.

Kansas City plays in Chicago tonight at 7:10. Brady Singer of the Royals faces Lucas Giolito of the White Sox.

The Community R-VI Lady Trojans won their home opener last night 12-5 against Glasgow. They are on the road Thursday as they travel to Hermann.
