Kentucky Visitor Drowns at Lake of the Ozarks Over Labor Day Weekend

A Kentucky man drowned over the weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Tyler Elliot, 29, from Louisville, Kentucky, was reportedly impaired when he jumped into the water from a pontoon Saturday afternoon. He was not wearing a life vest.

According to the Highway Patrol, Elliot had “diminished swimming capabilities,”. He was recovered and pronounced deceased Sunday morning.
