Serious Injury in Tubing Accident on Lake of the Ozarks

Serious injury occurs after a Kansas City woman was thrown from a tube on the Lake of the Ozarks on Saturday.

Bruce Peterson, 33, of Gladstone, MO, was piloting a boat, pulling Ashton Penrod, 26, of Kansas City, in a tube. Penrod was injured when she was thrown from the tube.

Emergency crews flew her to University Hospital.
