COO Doug Ramsey Suspended from Beyond Meat in Columbia
According to the Associated Press, Chief Operating Officer Doug Ramsey of plant-based food company Beyond Meat in Columbia has been suspended effective immediately.
Ramsey was arrested Saturday night because of a fight after the University of Arkansas football game. The Fayetteville police report states that Ramsey “punched through the back windshield” of a Subaru that inched in front of him in a traffic lane and made contact with the front passenger wheel on his Bronco.
Charges of “terroristic threatening” and third-degree battery are partially based on the biting of a man’s nose during the fight. Ramsey was released on an $11,000 bond Sunday.
