MSHP Trooper Formerly Assigned to Audrain County Gets Promotion
A Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper formerly assigned to Audrain County is getting promoted.
Lieutenant Matt Broniec began as a Trooper in Audrain County in the summer of 1995 before becoming a corporal in 2009 and then to sergeant in charge of Zone 10 in Boone County.
In June of 2021, Broniec was promoted to Lieutenant and became the assistant director of the Budget and Procurement Division at General Headquarters.
Broniec was promoted to Captain on October 1st and is now in charge of that position.
