Bond Denied For Suspects in Waage Homicide

The man accused of shooting and killing 22-year-old Shavez Avieon Waage in the parking lot of the Keene Street Moser’s in Columbia will remain in jail without bond.

Judge Joshua Devine denied bond yesterday (Monday) for 22-year-old Loyal Martell of Holts Summit in connection with the August 20th homicide.

22-year-old Joshua Dudley from Kirksville is also charged in the killing and remains in jail without bond.

Dudley told police he and Martell had driven to Columbia to rob Waage and that Martell was the one that shot Waage.

Dudley plead not guilty yesterday (Monday) to second degree murder and attempted robbery.
