Former Eugene Field Gym Teacher Has Hearing Continued
The case of former Eugene Field Elementary gym teacher Katrina Dukes continues in Audrain County circuit court.
According to online court records, a hearing scheduled for yesterday (Tuesday) has been continued until December 6th.
Dukes is accused of hitting a 9-year-old student with a bag of balls, causing bruising and is charged with child abuse or neglect and endangering the welfare of a child.
Mexico School District terminated Dukes’ employment in August and she has since filed suit against the District, asking it to reverse its decision.
