KWWR Sports Report 12/2/22

The Carolina Hurricanes blew into Enterprise Center last night and departed with a win over the Blues, 6 to 4.

The Blues are on the road tomorrow night, taking on the Pittsburgh Penguins, puck drops at 6.

The Mexico Bulldogs improved to 3-0 on the season with a 2-point win over the Hermann Bearcats in semi-final action of the boys Montgomery County Tournament last night (Thursday).

Mexico was paced by DJ Long’s 28 points that helped Mexico overcome a 13-point 2nd quarter deficit.

The Bulldogs will face Fulton in the boys final Saturday night at 6.

Fulton defeated Montgomery County 65 to 54 to advance.

Consolation play continues tonight at the MoCo Tourney.

In girls action, Mexico takes on 4th-seeded Clopton in a 6:00 contest.

On the boys side, it’s Clopton taking on Bowling Green at 7:30.
