Centralia Man Killed in Car – Train Accident
An accident Saturday night kills a Centralia man.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened just east of Sturgeon when a pickup driven by 67-year-old Ceno McGee of Centralia was eastbound on Keil Road parallel with the railroad tracks and turned south onto Jennings Road in the path of the eastbound Norfolk Southern train.
McGee was the only occupant of the pickup and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened at 11:15 Saturday night.
