Ribbon Cutting For The Summit Transitional Housing Facility
A ribbon cutting was held for the Audrain County Shelter Resource Coalition’s new transitional housing program, The Summit, at 626 Summit Street, Suite L this afternoon (Wednesday).
The facility allows those homeless but employed gain skills needed to be successful in the housing market and establish the payment history needed by most landlords to eventually seek permanent housing.
The former doctor’s office-turned residential living quarters has 16 rooms and room for 29 residents.
