KWWR Sports Report 2/3/23
The losing streak is over for the Mizzou Tigers women’s basketball team.
They picked up a win over Vandy last night at Mizzou Arena, 86 – 69, led by Hayley Frank’s 25 points.
Lauren Hansen had 22 points on the night and is now just 19 shy of 1,000 career points.
Next up, another home game Sunday as they host Alabama in the annual Pink Out game.
Tipoff is set for 4:00.
The NHL All Star Weekend is upon us.
It begins tonight in Sunrise, Florida hosted by the Florida Panthers.
The skills competition is at 6:00 Central and can be found on ESPN and ESPN+ and will include classics like fastest skater, hardest shot, and breakaway challenge.
Vladimir Tarasenko is the lone Blues player represented on the Central Division squad.
The All Star Game is tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 Central on both ABC and ESPN+.
