Audrain County Municipal Election April 4th Ballot Preview

Voters in Audrain County will have a number of tax and bond issues to decide on during the April 4th election.

Voters will be asked to approve a 3% tax on adult use marijuana sales in the county as well as in Mexico, Vandalia, Laddonia, Farber, Martinsburg, and Benton City.

Community R-VI, Paris, Wellsville-Middletown, and Sturgeon schools are all asking voters to approve no tax increase bond issues to improve security at facilities among other improvements.

The Audrain Ambulance District is asking for an additional 15 cents per 100 dollars assessed valuation to assist in replacing ambulances and maintain service while the Saling Special Road District is asking for an additional 35 cents per 100 dollars of assessed valuation for a period of four years.

Voters will also elect school board members, city council members, aldermen, directors and commissioners to local entities.

Polls will be open from 6:00am until 7:00pm on Tuesday, April 4th.
