MoDOT Seeks Public Input On Highway 3 Realignment In Randolph County

A closed highway in Randolph County will re-open, but not in the same location.

MoDOT is asking for the public’s input on the realignment of Highway 3 between Highway 24 and Route BB.

The highway closed in 2021 due to a slide that created unstable soil conditions.

A MoDOT consultant is recommending shifting the new highway west 15 to 30 feet and lowering it 10 to 15 feet to allow for more stability.

The public can leave comments at https://www.modot.org/report-road-concern through February 22nd.
