KWWR Sports Report 2/17/23
Thanks to a strong 3-point shooting effort and lockdown defense, the Missouri women’s basketball team picks up a 75 – 62 win over Mississippi State last night at Mizzou Arena.
Hayley Frank led the Tigers in scoring for the 7th straight game, picking up 22 points on the night.
Lauren Hansen added 20 points and picked up her 1,000th career point with a 3-pointer in the third quarter.
Up next for the women, their final road game of the season at Texas A&M on Monday night, tipoff set for 6:00pm in College Station.

The Blues extended their winning streak to 3.
Last night’s win over the Devils 4 – 2 improves their record to 26-25-3 and 12-12-3 at home.
The Blues host the Colorado Avalanche tomorrow afternoon at Enterprise Center, puck drops at 1:00pm.

Senior Night last night at North Callaway did not go the way they wanted it.
Varsity boys and girls both dropped their games with Bowling Green.
For the boys, the final was 62 – 38 with the girls contest considerably closer at 54 – 51.
