MHS Speech Team Picks Up Wins Saturday In Chesterfield
Mexico High School’s Speech Team adds new hardware to their trophy cabinet following a win on Saturday.
Marquette High School in Chesterfield was the host school for the largest tournament Mexico has competed in this season.
Mexico competed against 29 other schools with more than 700 total entries.
William Sause took first place in storytelling, Karisa Hayden brought home sixth place in Dramatic Interpretation and the team of Logan Wilson and Ethan Wiley took sixth place in Duo Interpretation.
Semi-finalists included Jyllian Whitworth in Storytelling, Samantha Smith for Oral Interpretation, Mia Moeller in Dramatic Interpretation and Thomas Peuster in US Extemporaneous Speaking.
