Missouri Statewide Tornado Drill Tuesday

This is Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Missouri and tomorrow (Tuesday) morning is the statewide tornado drill.

It begins around 10:00 when weather radios will sound the warning test and most areas with outdoor warning sirens will test those as well in a coordinated effort statewide.

Mexico will sound their outdoor sirens as part of the test.

As a reminder, outdoor warning sirens are just that…designed for those outside to take shelter.

The National Weather Service recommends people indoors have a weather radio or other means to receive warning information in the event of severe weather.
