The Mexico Bulldogs baseball team will play for a District Championship tonight (Thursday) against the Macon Tigers.

The Bulldogs come in as the 5 seed while the Tigers are the 2 seed.

The St. Louis Cardinals shut out the Milwaukee Brewers 3-0 at Busch Stadium last night (Wednesday).

Redbirds starting pitcher Matthew Liberatore tossed five shutout innings in his season debut and Paul Dejong hit a two-run homer to lead St. Louis to their eighth win in 10 games.

The Kansas City Royals defeated the San Diego Padres 4-3 on the road.

The Royals have won two of their last three series.
