The Community R-VI Trojans baseball team will look to advance to the Final 4 in the State Baseball Tournament tonight (Wednesday) when they face Sacred Heart.

The game will be played in Laddonia at the Community R-VI High School.

The Fulton Hornets shutout the Macon Tigers in the Class 4 Sectional round of the State High School Baseball Tournament last night (Tuesday) in Macon.

Hornets ace pitcher Walker Gohring went the distance with six strikeouts, and just two hits allowed.

Fulton improves to 18-8 on the season and advances to face St. Charles West tomorrow (Thursday) in a Class 4 Quarterfinal.

The Missouri Tigers were eliminated from the 1st round of the SEC Baseball Tournament 10-4 last night (Tuesday) by Auburn.

Mizzou took an early lead, however could not hold on.

Mizzou will now wait and see if they are selected for the NCAA Tournament.
