Columbia Police Investigating Pedestrian Death
Columbia Police are identifying a pedestrian who was hit by a tractor trailer and killed early yesterday morning (Wednesday).
A preliminary investigation revealed 36-year-old Brandon W. Lee was walking in the driving lane of northbound U.S. Highway 63, just north of Grindstone Parkway just before 1:30 yesterday morning (Wednesday), when he was hit by a fuel tanker.
Lee was pronounced dead at the scene.
The northbound lanes of the highway were closed for just under two hours.
