Jefferson City Police Find Man Dead Near Train Tracks

Police are continuing a death investigation after a man was found dead Tuesday morning close to a set of train tracks in Jefferson City.

According to Jefferson City Police they were called to the area of Riverview Drive and Wind River Drive and found a deceased male who was reportedly hit by a train.

His identity has not yet been determined.

Police say the area is not a location frequented by pedestrians.
