Paris Man Injured in Monroe County Accident

A Paris, Missouri man has minor injuries following a two-car accident in Monroe County yesterday morning (Monday).

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Rodney J. Wright of Paris was attempting to make a left turn and was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Alissa C. Hirner of Mokane.

Wright’s vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and hit a post.

Wright was taken by Monroe County ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.

According to the accident report Hirner was not injured.
