Man Dies in Mexico Home After Disturbance With a Gun

A man is dead following a disturbance inside a Mexico home this afternoon (Friday).

According to a press release from Mexico Public Safety it happened in the 1000 block of Muldrow.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance inside the home involving a gun just before 3:30pm.

As a result of the disturbance, Audrain Ambulance District took a 51-year-old woman to University Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A 66-year-old man died at the scene.

His identity has not yet been released as Mexico Public Safety is notifying next of kin.

The incident is still under investigation and there is no indication there is any danger to anyone else according to Mexico Public Safety.
