Fulton Man Dies in Maries County Accident

A Fulton man is dead after a two-car accident in Maries County yesterday afternoon (Thursday).

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report it happened just after 3:30pm on Highway 63, two miles south of Vienna.

A vehicle driven by 69-year-old Denny W. Brautigam of Fulton was stopped partially in the roadway.

Brautigam had exited the vehicle as the driver of a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Nathan D. Frank of Vienna, impacted Brautigam’s trailer and Brautigam.

Frank’s vehicle crossed the center line and overturned and came to rest on its top off the roadway.

Brautigam was pronounced dead at the scene.
