KWWR Sports Report 8/28/23

The Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up the preseason with a 33-32 win over the Cleveland Browns on Saturday.

It is being reported that the Chiefs have interest in signing former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and free agent Carson Wentz as a backup.

Kansas City opens up the regular season against the Detroit Lions at home on Thursday, September 7.

The St. Louis Cardinals lost 3-0 to the Philadelphia Phillies yesterday (Sunday).

It marked the first time the Redbirds were swept in a three-game series by the Phillies since 2006.

The Kansas City Royals were edged out by the Seattle Mariners 3-2.
