Auxvasse Man Arrested in 2002 Cold Case Murder of His Wife
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office is announcing the arrest of an Auxvasse man in connection to a 2002 murder.
According to the post on their Facebook page, a grand jury indicted Harold Dickens with First Degree Murder for the April 29, 2002, murder of his wife Debra Dickens.
A press release says this past week, Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney Ben Miller presented this cold case to a Callaway County jury.
After two days of hearing evidence and deliberation, the grand jury handed down an indictment yesterday (Wednesday).
At the time of the murder Debra was found in a trailer on State Route C, south of Fulton where she had died form multiple stab wounds.
The release stated Harold and Debra had fought just before the murder.
Dickens is being held without bond in the Callaway County Jail.
