Night of Firsts for Mexico Lady Bulldogs Basketball Team Against Fulton in Montgomery County Tournament
The Mexico High School Lady Bulldogs basketball team defeated their rival the Fulton Lady Hornets 47-29 in the Montgomery County Tournament on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
Mexico picked up their first win of the season and it was the first win for Makenzie Mudd as the Lady Bulldogs head coach.
The Lady Bulldogs had nine players on the floor during the game and everyone scored.
It was Kylie Burnett with 9 points.
Karlee Sefrit, Jordyn Thurman and Grace Hudson had 7 points each respectively.
Coach Mudd said “We were finally able to put together a lot of the little positives that we have seen in the earlier games and play a solid, complete game. I am very proud of the team effort that I saw tonight and am excited to see us keep growing.”
Up next the Mexico girls play New Haven on Friday at 6pm.
