Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Picks Up Tenth Win of the Season With Dominant Victory in Round One of US Bank Boys Holiday Tournament
The Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team cruised to a 79-51 opening round win over Hazelwood West at the US Bank Boys Holiday Tournament on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Mexico improved to 10-1 on the season with ten different Bulldogs scoring.
Mexico was led once again by senior point guard DJ Long with a game high 16 points.
Kaden Benne checked in with 12 points.
Charlie Fisher and Jaydon Eldridge rounded out the double digit scoring with 11 points each repectively.
PJ Perkins had 9 points.
Donye Nunnelly with 8 points.
Sam Ryan and Holden Aulbur with 4 points each.
And Grant Broeker and Aidan Knipfel had two points each.
The Bulldogs shot 71% from the free throw line going 15/21 and made four 3-pointers.
Up next Mexico will face Hillcrest on Thursday, December 28th at 4pm.
