Mexico Bulldogs Basketball Picks Up Twin Varsity Wins Over Bowling Green

The Mexico Bulldogs boys and girls varsity teams picked up wins over the Bowling Green Bobcats at the Mexico High School on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs set the tone of the evening with a 59 to 33 win.

It was the biggest margin of victory for the Lady Bulldogs this season.

Three Lady Bulldogs reached double digit scoring.

Claire Hudson led the way with 23 points and four three-pointers. Jordyn Thurman and Grace Hudson each had 13 points each respectively.

The Mexico girls improved to 5-8 on the year.

The Mexico Bulldogs boys walked away with a 70-51 victory over Bowling Green.

Four Bulldogs had double digit scoring. Kaden Benne led the offense with 19 points. Followed by DJ Long who finished with 16. Jaydon Eldridge with 13, and PJ Perkins with a jam and 13 points.

The Mexico boys improved to 13-2 on the season.

Up next both the Mexico boys and girls travel to Centralia on Friday night to play the Panthers.
