KWWR Sports Report 1/5/24
The NBA announced on Thursday, January 4, 2024 that Mexico, Missouri native and LA Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue has been named Western Conference Coach of the Month for December 2023.
This is Lue’s second Coach of the Month award and first with the Clippers.
The Clippers finished the month of December with an 11-2 record and were on a nine-game win streak from December 2 to 20th.
The Clippers are currently 21-12 and have won 13 of their last 15 games.

The University of Missouri Women’s Basketball fell to 7th ranked LSU, 92-72, in the SEC conference opener in Baton Rouge on Thursday night.
Senior forward Hayley Frank led Mizzou’s offense with 22 points.
Up next the Mizzou women will welcome Alabama to Mizzou Arena for the conference home opener at 5pm on Sunday.

The St. Louis Blues picked up their first win of 2024 with a 2-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks at the Enterprise Center on Thursday night.
Robert Thomas scored in his third straight game and had an assist for the Blues.
Thomas, was named to play in this year’s NHL All-Star Game prior to puck drop.
