The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 13-12 in the final game of the regular season on Sunday. Former Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert got the start and completed 15 of 30 passing for 154 yards.

Kansas City rested most of their starters for the upcoming playoffs.

Chris Jones played and got a sack in the third quarter to reach 10.5 on the season and collected a $1.25 million bonus.

The Chiefs locked into the AFC’s No. 3 seed for the playoffs.

Kansas City will host Miami in a wild-card game on Saturday night.

Missouri linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper announced his declaration for the NFL Draft on Saturday.

After three seasons, with Florida, Hopper finished his SEC career with two seasons at Mizzou.

Hopper led Mizzou in tackles until an injury in November sidelined him for the last two regular-season games and the Cotton Bowl Classic.

The Missouri Tigers Women’s basketball fell to Alabama, 70-64, Sunday night at Mizzou Arena.

Senior forward Hayley Frank led Missouri with 15 points and added seven rebounds.

The Mizzou women are now 9-6 overall and 0-2 in the SEC.
