The Mexico Bulldogs baseball team defeated the Fulton Hornets 4-3 on Thursday, April 4, 2024.

The game was tied at three in the bottom of the sixth inning when Kaden Benne laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run.

Sam Ryan earned the victory for Mexico.

He struck out three batters.

Brady Fox and Drew DeMint each collected two hits for the Bulldogs.

Kaden Benne and Ashton Belcher each drove in a run.

Mexico will play at home against Oak Grove in their next game on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Miami Marlins 8 to 5 in their home opener at Busch Stadium on Thursday, April 4, 2024.

The Cardinals scored five runs in the seventh inning for the comeback victory.

Ivan Herrera hit his first major league home run for the Redbirds.

Herrera said after the game his teammates doused him with ice cream, chocolate milk and other random condiments to celebrate his moment.

St. Louis has the day off today and resume their series with the Marlins at Busch Stadium on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

The Kansas City Royals picked up their first series opening win of the season with a 10-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox.

An eight-run 7th propelled Kansas City to the win.

The Royals improved to 3-4 on the year.

The St. Louis Blues Lost 6-3 to the Nashville Predators.

Brandon Saad, Jake Neighbours and Jordan Kyrou scored for the Blues, who have lost two of their last three.
