Endangered Silver Advisory Issued for Steedman Man

An Endangered Silver Advisory has been issued for a missing Callaway County man.

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office issued the advisory for 73-year-old Richard Thomas Lenkiewicz of Steedman.

He is described as 6-feet-tall, 235 pounds, and has been missing, when he left the 9100 block of Beave Butte Court in Steedman on 8:30am on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

The advisory says he suffers from dementia and is driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado with Missouri registration 89H5BL.

According to the release he is usually driven by another party to wherever he may need to go. However, this morning, he drove away from his home by himself, and his destination is unknown.

His neighbor reports having a conversation with Richard yesterday morning which has led officers to believe he may possibly be travelling to a casino.

The vehicle was last seen in Jefferson County, heading southbound from Jeffcot Boulevard and Starling Airport Road. He has brown-and-gray hair and brown eyes.
