The Kansas City Chiefs pulled off another unlikely victory yesterday (Sunday), blocking a 35-yard field goal attempt by the Denver Broncos as time expired to win 16 – 14 and improve to an undefeated 9 – 0 record this season.
With the victory, the Chiefs extended their win streak to 15 consecutive games, including playoffs, dating back to December 25, 2023.
It matches the longest in the NFL since the Green Bay Packers won 19 straight from 2010 – 2011.
Kansas City will next travel to Buffalo to play against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday.
Missouri Tigers football moved up one spot in the Coaches Poll after putting wp 14 points in the final 63 seconds of the game to defeat Oklahoma 30 – 23 on Saturday in Columbia.
The Tigers are now the 21st ranked team in the country in Coaches Poll.
Missouri was ranked 24th in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season last Tuesday.
The next set of the committee’s rankings will be released tomorrow (Tuesday).
The University of Missouri men’s basketball team plays Eastern Washington tonight (Monday).
Missouri is 1-1 after the first week of the season.
Tipoff at Mizzou Arena is set for 6pm.
The Mizzou Volleyball notched a 3-0 sweep over South Carolina last (Sunday) night at the Hearnes Center.
The victory extended the Tigers win-streak to nine putting them second in the SEC standings.
