Officer-Involved Shooting in Columbia Leaves One Person Dead
One person is dead following an officer-involved shooting on Raleigh Drive in Columbia during the evening hours of Saturday, February 1, 2025.
According to the Columbia Police Department, Columbia Police was assisting the Moberly Police Department in the 1500 block of Raleigh Drive, and an officer-involved shooting occured.
No officers were shot and the suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the suspect has not been released until next of kin is notified.
