Suspect Killed in Officer Involved Shooting in Moberly Homicide Investigation Identified
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed the suspect in a Moberly homicide investigation was killed by Columbia Police on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
According to the news release, 37-year-old Timothy T. Turner of Columbia was shot and killed by Columbia Police Department SWAT members following a standoff on Raleigh Drive.
The Moberly Police Department reported yesterday (Monday) afternoon that Turner was wanted in connection to the shooting death of 37-year-old Donald Gene Hickem of Moberly during the morning hours of Saturday, February 1, 2025.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control is investigating the Columbia incident.
Moberly Police are investigating the shooting death of Hickem and ask anyone with information to contact the Moberly Police Department by coming to the police station or by calling 660-263-0346.
