Slick Road Conditions Apparent Cause of Vehicle Accident in Audrain County
A Vandalia, Missouri man is recovering from moderate injuries after a one-car accident in Audrain County during the morning hours of Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol it happened on Route J at County Road 448 when a vehicle driven by a 65-year-old man from Vandalia, failed to negotiate a curve during hazardous weather conditions.
The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert.
The man was taken to University Hospital by Audrain County Ambulance for treatment of his injuries.
