Hannibal Man Accused of Fleeing From Traffic Stop Has Been Arrested
A Hannibal man accused of running from police after a traffic stop around 4am on Friday, March 7, 2025 has been arrested.
According to the news release, Audrain County deputies attempted to stop a tan Chevrolet truck for a registration violation along Highway 54 just south of Laddonia.
Audrain County Sheriff’s Office says the driver of the truck identified as Robert Stehman of Hannibal refused to stop and a short pursuit was initiated on Highway 54.
Stehman lost control of the vehicle at the intersection of South Pine Street and East 2nd Street in Laddonia, crashed the vehicle, and subsequently fled from the vehicle on foot.
Numerous sheriff’s deputies attempted to locate Stehman and eventually arrested him shortly before 7am on Friday, March 7, 2025.
