Crawley Murder Trial Begins In Columbia

Opening statements in the murder trial of Denico Crawley got underway around 2:00 this afternoon [Tuesday] in Columbia.

Crawley is accused of pulling a car alongside 25 year old Quenten Hart’s vehicle and shooting toward the driver’s side numerous times on June 26, 2017. Hart and 2 female victims were struck with gunfire, and Hart later died.

Prosecutor Dan Knight said the jury will see surveillance videos from businesses as well as forensic evidence proving Crawley’s guilt.
