Shot Fired In Downtown Columbia During Early Morning Street Fight

A report of a gunshot heard in downtown Columbia early this (Thursday) morning is under investigation.

According to a report from ABC 17 News it happened around 1 this (Thursday) in the 100 block of South Ninth Street, close to the Cherry Street intersection.

Officers on the scene report finding one shell casing, and no property damage.

Apparently there was a big fight in the street, and someone fired one shot into the air.

No injuries were reported and no one has been arrested at the time of this report.
