Election Complaint Filed Against Senator-Elect Hawley

The Missouri Secretary of States office is deciding on whether or not to investigate an elections complaint against Senator-Elect Josh Hawley.

The nonprofit organization American Democracy Legal Fund filed the complaint and alleges Hawley used public funds as Attorney General to support his candidacy for U.S. Senate.

As of today (Monday) Ashcroft’s office had not made a decision on whether or not to investigate the claims.

Ashcroft has until the beginning of December to notify Hawley of an investigation.
