Fulton Police Targeting Speeders With Increased Presence In School Zones

An increased police presence in Fulton will be seen for the next several weeks.

The Fulton Police Department announced recently on its Facebook page the decision came in response to concerns from citizens about speeding, especially in school zones.

The enforcement began yesterday (Monday) morning.

The department also says that school zones will be enforced during summer school as well.

Due to the increased presence officers will be paid overtime due to the department not having a traffic division.
