Formal Charges Brought Against Man In Jefferson City Over Social Media Threat

Formal charges are now being brought against a man police arrested for making a threat on social media.

26 year old Brian S. Groner was arrested by Jefferson City Police on Wednesday after a post on social media where police say he identified himself as “Your Next Mass Shooter”.

Groner allegedly admitted to studying the Columbine High School Shooting in 1999, and saying the shooters in that incident were lame because they only killed 12 people.

As of yesterday (Thursday) afternoon, Groner was still in custody with no bond.
